Bath, UK: From Julius Cesar to Jane Austen

The serene Roman Baths, circled by the statues of Emperors past, the scenic Pulteney Bridge, the massive Royal Crescent and its' neighboring Circus, Jane Austen's writings and Miss Lunn's famous bun. From the imposing surrounding Georgian architecture to the heavenly Bath Spa, there's a lot to keep you busy - and on a natural high - in Bath. But it still failed to enchant me - partly "thanks" to its' pompous nature and lack of a tangible street character. I don't mean to judge, but I'm seriously doubting there's much to the book besides the beautiful cover...
